Mickey runs primarily over 800m and after a fantastic season finished 2023 as the UK No 1, U18 with a PB of 1:49.89.

2023 also saw him finish 2nd in the 400m at SIAB and he was part of the winning 4x400m relay team.

Outside of his sport Mickey supports Ipswich Town and his local team Bury Town FC.
