Franco is an Argentine sprinter who began his sporting career in rugby, reaching Los Pumas Sevens in 2019. Following the pandemic he made a definitive transition to athletics after running 10.24 in the 100m which marked the start of his international sprint career.

Since then, he has established himself as one of South America's leading sprinters, achieving multiple national records and international medals.
