Grant is an experienced and attacking top order batter and wicket keeper. He made his First Class debut in 2016 for his native province Gauteng and has since established himself as one of the top performing batter keepers on the domestic cricket scene in South Africa. Grant has topped the run charts in both four day as well as limited overs formats, and in 2020 was named Cricket South Africa's One Day Cup Player of the year. Grant has played County Cricket for both Essex in 2022 and Gloucestershire in 2023 and featured for Mumbai Indians Cape Town in the SA20.
